Acquisition enables Paysafe to further scale in the high-growth Latin American region, taking advantage of the nascent open banking ecosystem and building on its recent acquisition of PagoEfectivo.
Together the two acquisitions are expected to drive multiple cross-selling opportunities across all Paysafe business units, enhancing long term growth prospects.
According to a study released by Cisco, investments in data privacy among Brazilian organizations are falling below the global average. The study interviewed 4,900 professionals in 27 countries and found that Brazilian firms invest a yearly average of $2.2 million in data privacy, compared with the global average of $2.7 million a year.

The folks at Iron Tribe Fitness, a South Carolina gym, are holding Meta to that forgotten standard in a class action suit alleging that Facebook overcharged advertisers as much as $4 billion by using one type of auction bidding process while claiming to use another. Meta blames the error on a “software glitch” that began in 2013 and continued for at least four years.
