Predictive Analytics Vendor Mintigo Raises Another $10 Million

B2B predictive analytics and data vendor Mintigo has added $10 million in funding, bringing its total to $44 million. Mintigo currently positions itself as an artificial intelligence platform. It assembles data on more than 50 million companies and 200 million professionals worldwide, using it to select targets, score leads, and advise insights to sales people.

Customer Data Platform vendor NGDATA has acquired data management and analytics consultancy Eccella to expand its services capabilities and geographic reach. Belgium-based NGDATA already has some U.S. and Pacific presence, while Eccella is based in New York with offices in London and Mumbai. NGDATA has raised $27 million and been unusually active in the acquisition front, buying personalized video creator Rednun in 2016 and data-driven marketing consultancy ENQIO in 2015.

Google Plans New Consumer Controls Over Targeted Ads

Google will give consumers more control over the ads they see, replacing current Ad Settings and About this Ad options with My Ad Center later this year .  The unified offering will let users specify the brands and topics they want to see, change personal information used to target ads, and make it easier to see who paid for an ad they are viewing.  It’s doubtful many consumers will bother with the settings but the features give more control to those who care.
