But wait, there’s more. Location-based data vendor Reveal Mobile has launched Visit, which identifies visitors to specified locations, converts them into advertising audiences, and integrates with audience marketplaces and media buying services. It’s one-stop shopping for location-based advertising: surely there’s a clever play on words in there somewhere.

You won’t be surprised that privacy rights organization Privacy International is “gravely concerned at the data processing activities of the data broking and AdTech industry”. So you probably shouldn’t be surprised that they’ve filed GDPR complaints against Oracle, Acxiom, Experian, Equifax, Quantcast, Tapad, and Criteo. The UK Information Commissioner’s Office has already issued assessment notices to Acxiom, Equifax, and Experian so this is really about Privacy International wanting to get its arguments considered. And some publicity.

Stackline Partners with Gigi to Improve Streaming TV Measurement

Amazon advertisers can now measure results outside of Amazon stores using a new service from Stackline and Gigi. Gigi will enable unified audience buying for Amazon Marketing Cloud and Amazon DSP, which run ads in Amazon’s online stores and streaming TV channels such as Prime Video.  Stackline’s panel-based multi-retailer attribution will track customer behavior across Amazon, Walmart, Target, and other major online or in-store retailers.
