Salesforce is about to release Marketing Cloud Next, available to Marketing Cloud customers for an additional license (cost not yet known). It features improved access to Salesforce’s AI agents, including some that can converse with customers until it’s time to pass them to marketing or sales humans. There will also be a tighter integration with Commerce Cloud.
People of a Certain Age may recall when paid streaming services like Roku and Amazon Prime were ad-free, but that was then. Today, streamers compete to offer as much inventory as possible. A new partnership will map Amazon audiences onto Roku viewer IDs, enabling ads purchased through the Amazon DSP to reach a combined audience representing more than 80% of U.S. CTV households.
CDP Lemnisk is also throwing its hat into the crowded AI ring. They’ve just released a “revolutionary set of industry-first AI Innovations” that include real-time, event-driven predictive scoring; entity-level identity resolution; and auto-transcription, sentiment extraction, and topic insights from audio recordings. Plus: MCP (Model Control Protocol) and API access to Lemnisk’s real-time profile store, so external models can feast on their data goodness.
The web search tool Perplexity looks like it’s taking on Google with its latest release, a web browser named Comet. Comet claims to move “from browsing to thinking,” surfacing information and search results in response to natural language queries. Comet is available immediately to Perplexity Max subscribers; others can join a wait list.
