Selligent Adds Privacy Compliance Tool

Selligent, a B2C marketing execution platform, doesn’t claim to have a CDP but does offer what they carefully call “CDP capabilities”. They seem to mean that they build multi-source customer profiles but use them within the Selligent platform. They’ve just added a customer information management tool that helps brands comply with privacy regulations. GDPR features are in place and CCPA is on the way.

Mobile Location Opt-Ins Dropped After GDPR: Airship Report

What about actual behaviors? Two-thirds of the Snow respondents said their companies had processed more than 100 data rights requests. TrustArc found 47% of UK consumers had exercised some GDPR privacy right and 10% had made a data deletion request. Airship reported that mobile app audiences have grown and notification opt-in rates remain steady around 67% but location data opt-in rates fell from 9.3% to 7.7%.

Bombora Offers B2B Ad Targeting and Personalization Based on Content Consumption

Bombora has launched Visitor Insights, a consent-based website tag that tracks the topics a device has consumed.   It infers intent, job function, management level, and other information that B2B publishers can use for ad targeting and personalization.  This Bombora report shows intent trends by industry: for example, media and advertising users show 70% more interest in Customer Data Platforms than they did last year.
