Seventy-five percent of CMOs are excited about the positive impact of generative AI on their businesses, according to a survey of 200 across seven countries. Eighty percent are already deploying it, particularly to increase productivity. Quick wins include content creation, social media/listening and product descriptions.
Yesterday we shared a Qualtrics survey that found consumers are crankier than ever, with more refusing to so much as answer customer experience surveys. This Havas study offers a cheerier view: while 70% feel the world is headed in the wrong direction, 56% feel more in control of their lives than one year ago. They also demand that brands help out: 46% have stopped using brands that don’t respect the planet or society.
SEO and digital marketing platform Semrush has acquired publisher Third Door Media, home of Search Engine Land and MarTech. Third Door Media’s properties, including its conferences, will continue to operate as standalone brands. Semrush is emphasizing TDM’s ability to provide educational content on search and other marketing.
Salesforce is about to release Marketing Cloud Next, available to Marketing Cloud customers for an additional license (cost not yet known). It features improved access to Salesforce’s AI agents, including some that can converse with customers until it’s time to pass them to marketing or sales humans. There will also be a tighter integration with Commerce Cloud.
