Sitecore Buys Stylelabs for Advanced Content Management

Digital experience platform Sitecore has purchased Stylelabs, which offers digital asset management, marketing resource management, and product information management capabilities. Sitecore also announced enhancements to its core product, including a Javascript SDK to access its .NET functions, headless content applications, expanded use of AI, and more precise email governance.

Google Shuts Down Google+ and Reveals Security Gap

An uncool name wasn’t the main reason so few people used Google’s social media network Google+ although it probably didn’t help. The company today announced they were shutting down the consumer portion of Google+, although they’ll keep some corporate applications. They also described several new limits on data sharing, mentioned that a security bug exposed data from at least a half million accounts, and look, a squirrel!

Bombora Offers B2B Ad Targeting and Personalization Based on Content Consumption

Bombora has launched Visitor Insights, a consent-based website tag that tracks the topics a device has consumed.   It infers intent, job function, management level, and other information that B2B publishers can use for ad targeting and personalization.  This Bombora report shows intent trends by industry: for example, media and advertising users show 70% more interest in Customer Data Platforms than they did last year.
