SmarterHQ Releases Predictive Model Builder

Personalization platform and CDP SmarterHQ also has a new predictive model builder. It creates different kinds of self-tuning models and SmarterHQ says it’s the only personalization platform to build predictions using all types of data, not just purchases. Seems unlikely but it’s an interesting claim.

Evervault Raises $16 Million for Privacy Tech

Yesterday was the second anniversary of the go-live date for the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), so it’s fitting that we have privacy news. First is a $16 million raise by Evervault, which promises to keep personal date safely encrypted and only allow API calls to process it within “privacy cages” that do not expose the unencrypted contents. Companies would not store any sensitive data and thus avoid most burdens of GDPR compliance, the company says.

GrowthLoop and TransUnion Partner to Optimize Audience Reach

GrowthLoop will use TransUnion identity data to improve U.S. consumer match rates on client files sent to advertising media such as Facebook and Google Ads.  The data should also help clients to find matches among records within their files, building more accurate customer profiles.  GrowthLoop calls itself a “composable CDP”, meaning it works with data assembled in external data warehouses.
