Alas, it’s not all fun and games for CDP vendors. Stride, which had raised $11 million since it was founded in 2016, has apparently gone out of business. Top managers are now listed as working at Snowflake, a cloud database company whose product Stride used. Neither Stride management nor Snowflake responded to requests for more information.
B2B CDP Zylotech has announced an integration with intent data compiler Bombora. Joint customers will be able to use Bombora data in Zylotech analytics and campaigns. It’s a good example of adding third party data to a CDP, if you were looking for one.
MindTickle uses tech to train humans to be better at sales and service. Sounds quaint. But somebody just gave them $40 million in new funding, bringing their total to $81.3 million.
GrowthLoop will use TransUnion identity data to improve U.S. consumer match rates on client files sent to advertising media such as Facebook and Google Ads. The data should also help clients to find matches among records within their files, building more accurate customer profiles. GrowthLoop calls itself a “composable CDP”, meaning it works with data assembled in external data warehouses.
