Next, marketing operations platform TapClicks has purchased StatX, a data visualization and collaboration tool. TapClicks has connectors to 200+ data sources. But it focuses on marketing dashboards, workflows and budgeting, not unified customer data. So it’s not a CDP.

You can add Vuture to the list – it’s a cross-channel marketing platform for legal and professional service providers. The purchase is part of a strategy to simplify martech buying by offering a portfolio of systems for different needs. CM Group just completed a $410 million financing to support further growth.

Salesforce Buys for Automated Customer Service

Salesforce is buying, which builds low-code, AI-powered e-commerce customer service agents.  You might have thought Salesforce could already do that, but presumably Airkit does it better.  It doesn’t hurt that the company founders sold a previous business to Salesforce, the company was partly funded by Salesforce Ventures, and the product is already listed on AppExchange.  Price was not announced.
