Tealium unveiled a new offering, Tealium Healthcare, designed to enable better digital experiences while complying with regulations. The main components address data collection, security and consent, with a special focus on sensitive data. It also leverages Tealium’s CDP to deliver personalized experiences to patients and physicians.
Blueshift has launched a series of new solutions within its CDP to activate first-party for paid media destinations. It will integrate more than 25 leading paid media destinations into its Journey Builder and allow syncing of Blueshift audiences with LiveRamp’s RampID audiences. It will also offer a deeper integration with the Google Ads ecosystem.
The EU’s Consumer Protection Cooperation (CPC) Network has given Meta until September 1 to change its “pay or consent” model for Facebook and Instagram. The CPC says calling the ad-free (consent) model “free” is misleading as users pay by allowing it to collect their data. These findings are in addition to earlier reported findings that the model breaches the EU’s Digital Markets Act.
With CDP vendors increasing their workforces by 3.4% in six months, compared with an average of 0.2% each six months over the prior two years, the sector seems to be growing again, according to our own semi-annual industry update. There is much talk of composable CDPs but they still employ no more than 5% of the sector workforce. What is a clear trend is the acquisition of independent CDPs by vendors interested in adding a CDP to a larger system (usually an activation system).
