TechForce Services, a global Salesforce consulting and technology services firm has announced its operational expansion to India. The business expansion to this high-growth market is in line with the company’s vision to help businesses accelerate their growth and offer exceptional customer services leveraging Salesforce solutions.
Yotta Infrastructure, Hiranandani Group’s data centre business in India, is in talks to raise Rs 4,000 crore debt to fuel the expansion of its data centre business. The company currently has two operational data centres—one in Greater Noida and another in Navi Mumbai—with a capacity of 160 MW each.
At a staggering $22 billion, WhatsApp has been Meta’s (then Facebook) most expensive acquisition to date. The deal had caused quite a stir in the tech industry since investors and analysts felt it was tough for the social networking giant to justify the astronomical price for an app that made little money. As Meta aims to diversify its revenue sources beyond traditional digital advertising, it is looking to tap into WhatsApp’s ubiquitous presence in markets like India to drive the app’s monetisation.

Salesforce was all over the concept last week, announcing its Agentforce collection. According to the company, it replaces the “now-outdated copilots and chatbots” with agents “operating autonomously, retrieving the right data on demand, building action plans for any task, and executing these plans without requiring human intervention.”
