TikTok had previously allowed approved influencers and brands to tag certain products in videos to make them shoppable. It is now experimenting with a new technology that will automatically tag objects in videos. Users will be able to choose to find similar items in TikTok Shop.

Infosum Partners with DIRECTV to Create First-Party Data Matching Solution

Data collaboration platform Infosum has announced a partnership with DIRECTV Advertising to create a first-party data matching system for advertisers. Based on Infosum’s data clean room technology, the solution will allow advertisers to match their first-party data with a cross-platform audience of millions of DIRECTV and DIRECTV STREAM viewers. DIRECTV Advertising will also be able to tap into Infosum’s network of data partners to build audience insights.
