Treasure Data has launched MCP Server powered by the open source connector Model Context Protocol. The Server will allow users to query customer data using natural language through its connection with AI assistants like Claude, GitHub Copilot Chat and Windsurf. The MCP Server bridge allows AI to access data in the Treasure Data platform directly and securely.

The web search tool Perplexity looks like it’s taking on Google with its latest release, a web browser named Comet. Comet claims to move “from browsing to thinking,” surfacing information and search results in response to natural language queries. Comet is available immediately to Perplexity Max subscribers; others can join a wait list.
