Typeform Raises $135 Million for No-Code Forms

You may think of Typeform as a no-code form and survey builder, but they describe themselves as a “conversational interaction platform”.  Apparently, their investors find that an appealing position, since they’ve just raised a $135 million Series C, bringing total funding to $187 million.  The company says it has over 125,000 users across paid and free products.

Sitecore CDP Integrates Acxiom Identity Service

We don’t write a story every time that Acxiom adds a new client for its Real Identity matching service.  But we mentioned their deal with Treasure Data two weeks ago, so it’s only fair to report that they’ve now connected with the Sitecore CDP, which was formerly Boxever.  The real-time integration is also a good reminder that many CDPs rely on third parties for identity matching, rather than using their own services.

Clearview AI fined $22M by Italy; told to erase collected data; banned from future collection

Italy’s data protection authority, the GPDP, found that ClearviewAI violated fundamental rules of GDPR when it collected biometric and geolocation data on its citizens. The data was collected without obtaining consent, so there was no transparency, or limitations on data usage or storage. Clearview is now required to erase the collected data and banned from future collection or processing of facial recognition data in Italy.

Zeta Global to Buy LiveIntent for $250 Million

CDP and marketing cloud vendor Zeta Global announced an agreement to purchase LiveIntent, which helps companies do email-based advertising.  The deal will let Zeta expand its identity graph, enter the publisher monetization business, and accelerate its mobile and retail media products.  Zeta will pay $77.5 million in cash and $172.5 million in common stock, with potential for additional payments based on performance.
