After three weeks of defiance, during which some 20 million users were unable to access the platform, Elon Musk’s X will comply with a Brazilian judge’s orders to suppress certain malicious accounts. X also named an official representative in Brazil, a condition of operating in the country. Following the filing of official paperwork, X might be re-activated in Brazil by the time you read this.
Zeta Global announced the launch of the new Zeta Media Engine powered by Snowflake. A privacy-first programmatic advertising solution, it will combine Snowflake Data Clean Room with Zeta’s Identity Graph to power advertising across the open web. Marketers will be able to enrich their first-party data with data from Zeta’s 240 million-plus profiles in a secure Snowflake environment.
As many as 77% of brands in verticals ranging from CPG and retail to B2B manufacturing are urgently considering switching ecommerce platforms within the next year, said a new State of Ecommerce report from commercetools. Among recent migrators, 90% reported improved sales and revenue. The number one trigger for migration is creating a better user experience.
CDP mParticle is being acquired by ecommerce platform Rokt for a price of $300 million. It’s the third acquisition of a leading independent CDP in a little over one month, following Uniphore’s purchase of ActionIQ and Contentstack’s purchase of Lytics. All three buyers offer some type of customer-facing technology; apparently they’ve decided that adding real-time profiles from CDP will give them a competitive edge.
