Children’s Privacy: TikTok algorithm found directing kids to porn

A Global Witness investigation found TikTok’s search algorithm continues to suggest sexually explicit search terms to children. This had been reported to TikTok earlier this year and the company said it planned to resolve the matter, but has not. Now TikTok is in violation of the UK Online Safety Act (OSA), which came into effect late July.
