Vibe.co has raised a $50 million Series B. Its CTV platform brings together ad creative, hyper-targeted campaigns, and AI optimization. The plan for the new funding is to accelerate yield optimization and publisher integrations, all with AI.
Prominent technology companies including Snowflake and Salesforce believe the greatest barrier to optimizing AI scalability is inconsistency in data definitions. To combat this issue, they’ve formed the Open Semantic Interchange (OSI), which will create standards for semantic model definitions. The framework will be completely vendor neutral.
Mastercard has unveiled Mastercard Commerce Media, its new digital media network that can attribute conversion to in-store and online purchases. The network features a 25,000-advertiser base and reach to 500 million enrolled customers. A “growing collaboration” with WPP allows connection to traditional media.
BetterUp and Stanford Social Media Lab define workslop as “AI-generated content that looks good, but lacks substance.” Their survey of 1,150 full-time desk workers in the U.S. finds that 40% received workslop in the last month, costing $186 per month per employee. For a 10,000-person company, that’s $9 million annually.
