Identity theft shows slight decrease in 2021, but still high at 25%; risks high to companies that don’t work speedily to resolve

New GIACT report looks at identity theft in 2021, including who is most effected, what areas are most vulnerable – and speed to rectify, according to consumers. In many cases, it took institutions months, not days or weeks to resolve the problem, resulting in large opportunity cost to fraud victims.

Martech Spending Grows as Percentage of Marketing Budget: CMO Survey

Martech keeps taking larger bites out of marketing budgets: 17.3% last year, 19.9% this year, 23.5% next year, and 30.9% five years from now, according to the latest CMO Survey. This despite barely more than half (56.4%) of current tools being used and nearly half (48.8%) of the survey respondents reporting worse-than-expected results. Oddly enough, marketers rate selecting marketing technologies as the thing they do best.
