Workers Familiar with AI Worry More About Its Impact on Their Job: CNBC/SurveyMonkey Survey

Surely the last issue of this newsletter for 2023 has to include an AI survey.  This one, from CBNC and SurveyMonkey, finds 72% of workers who use AI believe it makes them more productive, but 60% are also concerned about its impact on their job.  Only 35% of those who don’t use AI are worried about it.

Simon Data CDP Expands Ad Targeting Capabilities

Snowflake-based CDP Simon Data has launched a service, Anonymous+, that uses an identity graph to link anonymous website visitors with personal identifiers and uses the result for ad targeting and personalization.  Simon also announced an integration with ad buying platform The Trade Desk, which will let users create segments within Simon and send them to The Trade Desk as programmatic ad audiences.

Amperity Launches New Lakehouse Offering

Amperity has launched Lakehouse CDP,  which delivers CDP functions within “lakehouse” data stores including Snowflake and Databricks.  Amperity tools for data modeling, data quality, identity resolution, generative AI, segmentation, and performance measurement will send all results to a company’s own lakehouse rather than a separate Amperity-managed database. Modules can be used independently but the real benefit here is that Amperity is one of the few “composable” CDP vendors who offer a complete set of pre-integrated CDP functions.
