The bad news: Layoffs are up too. Women marketers below Director+ level sees salaries lagging behind male peers, but C-suite women salaries are slightly higher.
Google’s Search Generative Experience creates more opportunities for third-party sites and even competitors to rank for a brand’s own brand and product terms, based on research into almost 3,000 key words and 251 brands by SEO software vendor Authoritas. Over 90% of keyword searches generated SGE content. Sites like Wikipedia and even Quora ranked high in results.

The investigations raise questions about Google self-preferencing in search results, anti-competitive practices related to Google Play and the Apple App Store and Meta’s “pay or consent” model. Penalties can reflect up to 10% of global turnover.
Amperity has launched Lakehouse CDP, which delivers CDP functions within “lakehouse” data stores including Snowflake and Databricks.
