Design platform Canva is embedding its complete design experience, including Magic Studio AI tools, in the HubSpot platform. Accessed through a Design With Canva button, teams will be able to design and publish content without leaving the HubSpot portal. It will now be possible to add Canva Pro Elements to designs and comment and collaborate on Canva designs within HubSpot.
Composable CDP Hightouch has raised $80 million in its latest funding round at a valuation of $1.2 billion. Hightouch expects to make significant investments in AI Decisioning, an intelligence layer to choose the best messages for individual customers. Agentic AI will not only optimize customer journeys but automatically run experiments to identify what works for different cohorts.
Only 18% of Americans believe that service providers on popular apps receive proper security vetting, according to a survey by Trua (which is a vendor of verified trust credentials). Sixty percent would pay extra for more thorough background checks. The concern arises with many popular apps that provide access to service providers, from rideshare apps and AirBnB to home service apps like Thumbtack and TaskRabbit.
It barely feels like news when industry giants add AI features, since that’s what they’re expected to do.
