Galgo, the Chilean fintech founded as Migrante in 2018, has raised US $40 million to further expand in Chile, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico, The company plans special emphasis Columbia and Mexico, which they expect to be leaders for short and mid-term growth. Galgo provides credits to guarantee car and motorcycle leasing as well as professional title validation to foreigners.
App marketing platform InMobi has launched Addressability Gradient, which helps advertisers pick the right customer identity option for each different. I couldn’t find any details but the idea seems to be a toolkit of techniques ranging from ID-based targeting to, um, non-ID-based targeting. Presumably it reduces confusion rather than increasing it.

Amazon agreed to pay $2.5 billion to settle a Federal Trade Commission lawsuit charging it tricked customers into signing up for Amazon Prime and then made it difficult for them to quit. A jury trial in the suit had already begun. We can only assume that Amazon didn’t like its chances.
