Fulcrum SaaS, a campaign CDP that focuses on real-time personalization, announced a $5 million funding round, bringing total funding to $7 million. Fulcrum makes heavy use of automated segmentation, recommendations, and campaign flows, seasoned with a heavy dose of AI.
Google has granted permission for publishers to use Lotame’s cookieless identifier, Panorama ID, within its Encrypted Signals for Publishers (ESP) program. ESP (get it?) lets publishers share an encrypted ID based on first party data to buy and track audiences. The ID is based on a cross-device identity graph maintained by Lotame and has been adopted by more than 18,000 publishers.
BetterUp and Stanford Social Media Lab define workslop as “AI-generated content that looks good, but lacks substance.” Their survey of 1,150 full-time desk workers in the U.S. finds that 40% received workslop in the last month, costing $186 per month per employee. For a 10,000-person company, that’s $9 million annually.
