TikTok informs EU users their data will be accessible to staff in China & elsewhere

TikTok’s new revised privacy policy, which will be live December 2, confirms that EU, UK and Swiss user data will be available to its employees in other countries, including in Brazil, Canada, China, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and the US for a variety of uses. These include checking algorithmic performance, recommending content to users, and detecting issues with automated accounts.
