Cambodia may be the next Southeast Asian country to have a privacy law. However, a draft copy obtained by news venue, Nikkei Asia is raising fears the legislation may actually put personal data at increased risk and empower the government and companies to share data without consent.

Common Sense Privacy’s offers AI toolset to navigate privacy compliance headwinds

Companies trying to steer a true course amid shifting privacy regulations may welcome the new toolset from Common Sense Privacy, an AI Fund-backed for-profit spinoff of the privacy rating organization Common Sense Media. The tools include capabilities to draft privacy policies and to advise on filling out privacy nutrition labels required by app stores. There’s also a dashboard to help companies see how what they’re doing stacks up against various regulations.
