Message personalization vendor Movable Ink has raised a $55 million Series D, bringing total funding to $97 million. The company has been on a tear recently, adding more than 100 new employees so far this year, expanding across Europe, and acquiring message selection engine Coherent Path.
Their product is designed to remove friction between privacy law and the constraints of blockchain to move personal information without disrupting the chain.
Mediafly offers a collection of B2B sales training, interactive content, and forecasting tools, based mostly on acquisitions. They just expanded their collection by buying ExecVision, which uses conversational intelligence to develop sales coaching plans.
Martech keeps taking larger bites out of marketing budgets: 17.3% last year, 19.9% this year, 23.5% next year, and 30.9% five years from now, according to the latest CMO Survey. This despite barely more than half (56.4%) of current tools being used and nearly half (48.8%) of the survey respondents reporting worse-than-expected results. Oddly enough, marketers rate selecting marketing technologies as the thing they do best.
