This Sitecore study finds that one-third of marketers already have metaverse marketing programs and 42% of consumers are present or plan to visit shortly. “Escaping reality” ranks high on their list of reasons, and who could blame them?
TikTok’s new revised privacy policy, which will be live December 2, confirms that EU, UK and Swiss user data will be available to its employees in other countries, including in Brazil, Canada, China, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea and the US for a variety of uses. Martech keeps taking larger bites out of marketing budgets: 17.3% last year, 19.9% this year, 23.5% next year, and 30.9% five years from now, according to the latest CMO Survey. This despite barely more than half (56.4%) of current tools being used and nearly half (48.8%) of the survey respondents reporting worse-than-expected results. Oddly enough, marketers rate selecting marketing technologies as the thing they do best.
