Anexinet Extends Social Monitoring Platform To All Unstructured Sources

Let’s talk today about analytics. We’ll start with an announcement from digital solution provider Anexinet, which has expanded its ListenLogic social media analytics solution to include unstructured data from call center recordings, email, chat, text, CRM, and other channels. The system looks for patterns that can be used to guide customer interactions and predict future behavior.

McKinsey Puts CDP at the Heart of Modern Marketing

Back to Customer Data Platforms. Here’s a McKinsey article that delightfully calls data activation and personalization “the heartbeat of modern marketing” and then positions CDPs as “solving the ongoing challenge of true personalization”. They describe CDPs as including analytics and decisioning, which is broader than the CDP Institute’s definition. But it’s still a great endorsement. YouTube Home to Hundreds of Election Misinformation Videos

Misleading election-related ads are “running rampant” on Meta-owned Facebook, but Google-owned YouTube is also making money from misinformation. Research by Media Matters, independently confirmed by the New York Times, found 30 YouTube channels that between them had posted almost 300 videos containing misinformation which had earned some 47 million views. YouTube is monetizing them with ads and sharing revenue with the creators.  YouTube says election-denial falsehoods don’t violate its guidelines.
