The global CDP market size, estimated at $7.4 billion will grow to over $28 billion by 2028 at a CAGR of almost 40%. The main drivers will be the growing volume of data, demands for omnichannel experiences and privacy regulations. The estimate comes from management consulting firm MarketsandMarkets.
Adobe and Microsoft will expand their partnership to bring Adobe Experience Cloud workflows and insights to Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365. This will enable marketers to use insights from both Adobe Experience Cloud and Microsoft 365 to Microsoft Copilot so that users can work with generative AI in Outlook, Teams, Word and other Microsoft applications. Adobe Workfront will also be able to work across these applications.
Among the many product announcements at Adobe Summit 2024 was Real-Time CDP Collaboration, a data clean room for advertisers and publishers. Real-Time CDP will also be able to pull data directly from AWS, Snowflake and other data warehouses. Most of the other announcements related to Firefly generative AI tools and included an AI assistant embedded across Experience Platform.
Salesforce has announced a new solution, Unified Knowledge, that will pull data from third-party systems thus supplementing Salesforce Data Cloud with external information sources. Initially, this is mainly aimed at helping Service Cloud users in combination with Einstein for Service’s generative AI. It was developed through a strategic partnership with AI vendor Zoomin.
