OneTrust Raises $210 Series B for Privacy Tech

Privacy has been good business for OneTrust, which offers consent, compliance and risk management systems. They just raised a $210 million Series B, following a $200 million Series A last July.
Salesforce rather casually announced during yesterday’s quarterly earnings call that it is buying Vlocity, which builds industry-specific CRM systems on top of the Salesforce platform, for a cool $1.33 billion. The news was buried in the middle of the sixth paragraph of the prepared statement. Just another day at the office, I suppose.
Leadplum doesn’t really fit with today’s other items: it mostly delivers B2C messages across mobile channels including push, in-app messaging, and email. But they did just raise $27 million, bringing their total raise to over 125 million. That seems worth a mention.
Microsoft has confirmed that Reddit has blocked its Bing search engine from crawling content; Reddit seems to have blocked DuckDuckGo too. Reddit content will still appear in Google search results, but then Google has paid Reddit $60 million to allow it to train its AI models on that content. Reddit says the block has nothing to do with the Google deal: okay.
