Meta AI app = hitting “Share All”

Meta, not known for caring who knows your business, has taken full exposure to new heights with its Meta AI app. There, without bothering to let users know global sharing is where they’re headed, Meta provided an easy-share button to use when its AI answers a question. Not required, but not well explained either, so unsuspecting users have shared whatever was on their minds – from gastro discomfort to contemplating a tax cheat.

Privacy: No longer optional – and centralized is best

Companies big and small are making privacy a top priority, according to TrustArc’s 2025 Global Privacy Benchmarks Report which outlines five most pressing concerns. No surprise is AI is at the top with 46% of companies concerned about how to stay compliant while growing AI. Organization within the company and measuring compliance is also critical at large and medium companies while adding privacy offices at smaller companies jumped by threefold since last year. Vendor management and building brand trust are also keys for success.

The Trade Desk Introduces Connector App Built on Snowflake

The Trade Desk now has a Connector App, the first it has natively built on an independent data platform — in this case, Snowflake. It will allow brands to share SKU-level sales and conversion data with The Trade Desk clients “in a way that makes sure that data stays with the advertiser and respects user agreements and privacy,” said CEO Jeff Green. Along similar lines, The Trade Desk also recently announced a deal to give advertisers access to product-level data from Instacart and Ocado.

AI Commerce Platform FERMÀT Raises $45 Million

“Hyper-personalized commerce journeys” sound great until you think how much work it is to create them. Commerce platform FERMÀT doesn’t generate all that content in real time, but offers the next best thing: agents that can generate thousands (or is it millions?) of variations in advance and then match those to the right customers in real time. The company just raised a $45 million Series B funding to move things along.
