One result is a growing list of vendors who help companies to find that data in their systems so they can share it when asked. You can add Transcend to that list: they have emerged from beta with a $25 million Series A, bringing total funding to $29 million.
Cloud data warehouse vendor Snowflake has confidentially filed for an Initial Public Offering, according to news reports. Snowflake is used by many CDP systems. Value could be as high as $20 billion.
Mobile attribution vendor AppsFlyer has announced Zero, a free service to measure results from a company’s owned media, such as its email, social media posts, and Web sites. The service uses “deep linking” to track visitor origins. AppsFlyer will still charge to track results from paid and earned media and for people-based attribution.
Procrastinators of the world can throw a party whenever they get around to it: Google has once more pushed back complete third-party cookie deprecation. The new target is “early next year.” Reasons for the delay include concerns expressed by U.K. data regulator Information Commissioner’s Office, an ongoing inquiry by the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority, and widespread discontent in the advertising ecosystem.
