Veritone One has an AI system that listens to podcasts to determine their content. They just announced that podcasting platform ART19 will use it to automatically match podcast ads with suitable content. Veritone also just added an option to pay podcasters based on purchases tied to promotion codes a podcaster has shared.
Blockchain often seems over-hyped but one application that always made sense was streamlining the digital ad supply chain. Sure enough, a pilot run by IBM, Unilver, and others has yielded an average two to three percent savings. That’s a small fraction of what goes to intermediaries and fraudsters but presumably benefits will grow over time.

GrowthLoop will use TransUnion identity data to improve U.S. consumer match rates on client files sent to advertising media such as Facebook and Google Ads. The data should also help clients to find matches among records within their files, building more accurate customer profiles. GrowthLoop calls itself a “composable CDP”, meaning it works with data assembled in external data warehouses.
