Seventy-one percent of consumers fear online fraud; want brands to prioritize protection

Trulioo’s survey of more than 3,000 consumers in the U.S., UK and China found that since last year, 68% of consumers are doing more to protect themselves from fraud and need brand assurance that this is a priority. Concerns are heightened when opening new accounts with security (64%, rising to 80% in China) and transparency (49%) together ranking far ahead of other factors.

Edelman global survey finds brand trust “crucial”

Edelman released its global brand tracker survey based on interviews with 14,000 participants, including from Brazil, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, UK, and the U.S. Results showed a 37% increase in preference for businesses that prioritize value, customer safety, and people, and 88% of respondents said trusting a brand outweighed customer service, convenience, or even loving the brand.

Amperity Launches New Lakehouse Offering

Amperity has launched Lakehouse CDP,  which delivers CDP functions within “lakehouse” data stores including Snowflake and Databricks.  Amperity tools for data modeling, data quality, identity resolution, generative AI, segmentation, and performance measurement will send all results to a company’s own lakehouse rather than a separate Amperity-managed database.
