GetEquity, a fundraising and venture portfolio management company that aims to reduce friction between founders and the funding they need by giving them access to a wide range of funding options, has expanded to Kenya. On the GetEquity platform Startups can list themselves and market to institutional investors and public users, and anyone can buy equity in a listed startup for as little as US$10.
The Chilean startup Examedi closed a $17 million Series A round following its $3.5 million seed round. The company combines digital healthcare with logistics typically used by food delivery apps, using an online platform to connect patients with nurses, and partners with labs that process patient samples.
Nigerian at-home lab testing startup HealthTracka has raised US$1.5 million in funding to expand into Kenya and Ghana in the coming months. Founded in May 2021, Healthtracka provides B2C services where users book their lab tests on the website, have their samples collected at home and get digital results, with the cost of tests also covering a doctor’s review of results; and B2B services – offering API infrastructure for tele-health service providers, hospitals, and pharmacies.
Tealium has launched a suite of solutions aimed at powering AI models with rich, filtered and consented data. Tealium for AI uses existing Tealium features to support AI applications with specialized integrations, partnerships, configurations, and attributes.
