BlueConic CDP Adds Data Clean Room

CDP BlueConic has added a data clean room option to its system, making it easier for companies to share first party data with each other without revealing personal information.  It’s part of BlueConic’s suite of products aimed at helping companies cope with the loss of third party cookies.

Adobe Commerce Offers Walmart Ecommerce and Fulfillment Services

I don’t know which is hurts my brain more: thinking of Walmart as a scrappy underdog or thinking of them as a tech leader.  Yet here they are, leading the retail resistance to Amazon’s plans for world domination.  Their latest gambit makes Walmart’s online shopping, in-store pickup, and 2-day delivery services available to thousands of merchants on the Adobe Commerce platform.

Do you miss those innocent days when every product announcement breathlessly reported the new system or feature was “AI-based”? If so, here’s a whiff of remembrance from AI infrastructure provider SambaNova Systems, who found that 78% of large companies rate AI and Machine Learning as important revenue drivers. Yet even they have a curiously mixed attitude, citing (in their press release) a NewVantage Partners study that found only a quarter of top companies have scaled AI/ML across their organization.
