PureWow Removes the Drudgery from Online Shopping

Do you often say to yourself, Gosh, it’s hard to buy things online? Me neither. But the folks at shopping site PureWow are on the case anyway, saving you from the drudgery of shopping carts and Buy Now buttons with “wowtext”, which lets you respond to an offer by texting back one number, showing how many you’d like to buy. I feel less tired just thinking about it.

SA’s Clickatell closes $91M in Series C funding

Google Again Delays Third-Party Cookie Deprecation

Procrastinators of the world can throw a party whenever they get around to it: Google has once more pushed back complete third-party cookie deprecation.  The new target is “early next year.” Reasons for the delay include concerns expressed by U.K. data regulator Information Commissioner’s Office, an ongoing inquiry by the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority, and widespread discontent in the advertising ecosystem.
