Russia’s watchdog, Roskomnadzor said Google failed to remove more than 2,600 banned posts; and Meta failed to remove over 2,000 from its platforms. These included posts in support of dissident Alexei Navalny, and posts promoting drugs and pornography.

A new amendment to Election Laws (Amendment) Bill 2021 allows Aadhar, a social security-type system to connect with country voter rolls. The government says this will allow them to check for duplicate registrations. Aadhar has been controversial since its 2009 inception because it’s been linked to other private systems, including in finance and telecom.
Here’s a new buzzword for your Bingo card: “agentic AI”, which describes systems that act by themselves rather than in response to a prompt. Salesforce was all over the concept last week, announcing its Agentforce collection. According to the company, it replaces the “now-outdated copilots and chatbots” with agents “operating autonomously, retrieving the right data on demand, building action plans for any task, and executing these plans without requiring human intervention.”
