Excitement over generative AI is increasingly clouded by fears about security, privacy, copyright violations and errors of all sorts. The folks at Salesforce have noticed. When they introduced the inevitable AI Cloud today their focus was the Einstein Trust Layer, which prevents large language models from retaining sensitive customer data. The word “trust” appears 38 times in the press release.
What about Bloomreach, you ask? They also have a new friend, partnering with Contentsquare to feed insights based on digital behaviors to Bloomreach’s customer engagement platform. Bloomreach will also push information from its CDP back to Contentsquare because that’s what friends are for.
The world may not need another B2B demand generation platform but DemandSkill is offering one anyway. The system uses natural language processing, semantic analysis, and intent algorithms to identify the most promising sales prospects. It’s not clear what’s unique here but they promise an “8-point quality assurance process”.
Microsoft has confirmed that Reddit has blocked its Bing search engine from crawling content; Reddit seems to have blocked DuckDuckGo too. Reddit content will still appear in Google search results, but then Google has paid Reddit $60 million to allow it to train its AI models on that content. Reddit says the block has nothing to do with the Google deal: okay.
