Most Companies Still Just Experimenting with AI: Accenture Research

Artificial intelligence is often said to be more widespread than people recognize.  Accenture took a close look and concluded that 63% of companies are still just experimenting with AI, and only 12% are using it well enough to gain competitive advantage.  Lots of good advice and interesting detail here – well worth a look.  Or have a robot read it for you.

Salesforce Buys for Automated Customer Service

Salesforce is buying, which builds low-code, AI-powered e-commerce customer service agents.  You might have thought Salesforce could already do that, but presumably Airkit does it better.  It doesn’t hurt that the company founders sold a previous business to Salesforce, the company was partly funded by Salesforce Ventures, and the product is already listed on AppExchange.  Price was not announced.
