Zoom announces new privacy measures following Meta’s record €1.2B fine

June 13, 2023
Last month’s record-breaking €1.2 billion fine (≈ US$1.3 billion) that the EU handed Meta has prompted proactive privacy measures at Zoom. This will include allowing paying customers in the European Economic Area (EEA) to keep their data inside the EEA – only to be shared with US teams in individual cases or unusual circumstances. B2B Marketers See Tech Overtaking Creative as Top Skill: LinkedIn Study

June 12, 2023
This B2B marketer survey from LinkedIn has plenty about AI.  But I was more intrigued to see that marketers listed tech and analytics as the second most important skill today, behind creative strategy and execution, (53% vs 59%) and actually forecast it would be more important than creative in the future (49% vs 41%).  On the other hand, LinkedIn found they’d been adding more creative skills to their LinkedIn profiles than ever.  Lots more here.
